McDonald’s Popular Samurai Burger Coming Back with Seaweed Shaker Fries Tomorrow (25 July)

I kid you not, this is a true story: our super-fit colleague BuffLord95 never eats anything that’s fried. He follows Kim Jong-kook’s diet: no fried food, no coffee, no bubble tea, no anything that makes life great.

But last year, when the Samurai Burger was out, he proactively asked if anyone’s ordering—that’s how popular this burger is.

Here’s a video we’ve done for this burger two years ago:

It’s supposed to be the best-est burger by McDonald’s together with the prosperity burgers.

So when this news got out, BuffLord95 immediately took leave today and went to the gym to burn off tomorrow’s calories.

Samurai Burger Coming Back with Seaweed Shaker Fries and Matcha Everything

Since last Sunday, McDonald’s has been teasing us with this video:

We obviously know what that is, right?

This is cast in stone with McDonald’s latest media release.

The Samurai Burger is making a comeback together with its BFF Seaweed Shaker Fries.

The Samurai Burger packs a formidable bite with the juicy quarter-pound beef patty or tender-grilled chicken patty coated with the signature teriyaki sauce, with crisp lettuce and a spread of creamy mayonnaise packed between two golden-toasted buns topped with sesame seeds.

Enjoy the Samurai Burger in two ways – the Single Samurai Burger, or double the enjoyment with the Double Samurai Burger – available from $6.10 and $8.10 a la carte, respectively.

Our suggestion? Go for the single one: you can’t “feel” the teriyaki sauce with two patties.

A meal will start from $8.90.

And of course, we won’t need to introduce the Seaweed Shaker Fries, right?

I’d go out on a limb and say that this is one of the best fries by McDonald’s. I mean, it’s not difficult to get that title when McDonald’s comes out with fries like the infamous Unloaded Sour Egg Yolk Fries.

Matcha Everything

If you’re an ice-cream fellow and green is your favourite colour, then this series of Matcha soft serve is made for you.

Matcha Dip McFlurry, which is new, will be at $3.10…

…while the Matcha Cone, Matcha Twist Cone and Matcha Hot Fudge Sundae will be from $1.10.
