McDonald’s Singapore has released information on its website about additional charges for extra condiments from 2 January 2025.
According to them, they will be starting a nominal charge for sauces beyond the allocated quantities for specific menu items to help manage food waste and rising food costs.
As both of these are ongoing challenges across the F&B industry, McDonalds Singapore seeks customers’ understanding and hope they will continue to enjoy the food – and sauces – they love.
What are the new charges?
Ketchup and Garlic Chili Sauce will continue to be provided at no charge, based on fixed allocation to a food order.
McDonalds Singapore will be charging for all other sauces, if requested for beyond the usual allocation for respective menu products:
- Chicken McNuggets dipping sauce (BBQ, Curry, Honey Mustard) – S$0.50 per tub
- Hotcakes syrup – S$0.50 per tub
- Whipped Butter Pad (for Hotcakes and Corn Cup) – S$0.50 per tub
- Salad Dressing (Japanese Dressing Roasted Sesame) – S$0.70 per packet
