If someone asks me what my favourite kind of dessert is, I would definitely say pies without a second thought.
They’re crispy on the outside and bursting with delicious flavours on the inside. Plus, they’re also usually not too sweet, which is good for all of us considering Singapore’s long-lasting relationship with diabetes.
Pies are literally the definition of the perfect dessert.
And of course, McDonald’s is famous for always providing us with new and interesting variations of pies that are cheap, and also taste amazing.
(Well, most of the time. I wasn’t really a huge fan of their peach pie.)
Another One
McDonald’s has just released a teaser on the latest pie that they’ve come up with, and this time, it’s unlike anything we’ve ever gotten from them before.
White chocolate sounds good enough on its own. I would already have been super excited about that.
But white chocolate meets strawberry?
That sounds heavenly.
Speaking of pies, the chocolate pie has been McDonald’s most successful hit in Singapore thus far.
The crispy dark pie stuffed with gooey molten chocolate won the hearts of Singaporeans and it even made a return to stores this February after its initial release on March 2018.
Hmmm, maybe it’s gonna be a yearly thing. One can only hope.
Details
Although no one knows what the Strawberry Cream Pie looks like yet, we won’t have to wait much longer as the pie will arrive in McDonald’s stores on the 29th of August, which is not too far away.
I’m guessing that this pie is probably gonna come along with other brand new food items, which means it’s time to say goodbye to the Samurai Burger and friends.
I’ve got to admit, I’m really going to miss the seaweed shaker fries though. I’m probably going to be eating it as much as I can for the next few days before it goes away.
Hopefully, the Strawberry Cream Pie is going to blow all our minds and taste just as good as it sounds.
It’s time to start counting down the days to 29 August!
