Two other male colleagues soon joined, with one reportedly holding a cigarette.
One staff member then kicked the homeless man in the back, prompting him to gather his belongings.
As the homeless man collected his items, one of his possessions was kicked away from him.
According to the original poster, before the recording began, the employees had stepped on the man, kicked him, and thrown slippers at him while he was sleeping.
The homeless man appeared confused by the employees’ actions and seemed unsure how to react.
Social Media Demands Action Against McDonald’s Employees
The video has sparked significant outrage across social media platforms, with many users demanding immediate action from both McDonald’s Malaysia and local authorities.
Some commenters speculated that the staff’s behavior might have been in response to ongoing issues, with one user sharing text messages claiming the homeless man had been staying outside the outlet for approximately two years.
The messages also alleged the man would frequently defecate outside the restaurant.

However, the original poster countered that throwing slippers would not resolve the situation and noted the homeless man was not causing any disruption when the staff began the assault.
Many social media users agreed that the employees should have contacted authorities if they were facing problems rather than resorting to physical aggression.
Several commenters pointed out that the staff members should show more compassion, noting that anyone could potentially face homelessness.
The incident has led to calls for McDonald’s to dismiss the three male employees involved, with some users encouraging others to boycott the fast food chain.
