Exciting New Additions to McDonald’s Menu: Sweet ‘N Sour Burgers & Pineapple Coconut Frappé!
Wondering what’s special about 28 Dec?
It’s not just three days after Christmas or three days before the New Year countdown.
It’s the day when McDonald’s unveils its latest menu additions!
Let’s face it, at some point, we’ve all reverted to our child-like excitement over what McDonald’s will come up with next.
No matter your age, there’s always something for everyone at McDonald’s.
Building on the success of the classic sweet and sour pork dish, McDonald’s is now introducing the Sweet ‘N Sour Fish Burger and Sweet ‘N Sour Chicken Burger to its local stores soon!
Well, for one, I’m already eagerly anticipating their taste.
This new menu is a creative twist on some of Singapore’s favourite dishes, following the Nasi Lemak Burger, Bandung Frappé, and Cendol Soft Serve from a few years ago.
Choose between crispy fish or chicken, both complemented with pineapple and crispy shallots, creating a crispy, tangy, and flavourful delight in every bite.
The Sweet ‘N Sour Fish Burger
Price: $7.70 for a double fish burger (à la carte)
Bored of the usual Filet-O-Fish? Try this crispy fish patty, paired with sweet and sour sauce, juicy pineapple, and aromatic crispy shallots.
One bite and you’ll taste all the flavours of a favourite Singaporean dish. A truly flavourful sensation.
Not to mention, you know it’s truly the real deal when you see the real pineapple in the burger.
Real.
The Sweet ‘N Sour Chicken Burger
Price: $7.00 for a single chicken burger (à la carte)
And why stop there?
Try the sweet and sour chicken too, offering a refreshing and satisfying taste in every bite.
We don’t have to introduce how crispy the chicken patty is. You already know it.
Ha! Chicken Drumlets
Price: $3.40 (à la carte)
They’re back! The Ha! Chicken Drumlets are a local favourite, now even more delicious when combined with McDonald’s signature drumlets, coated in rich, seasoned prawn paste.
Pineapple Coconut Frappé
Price: $4.70 (à la carte for small size)
In a tropical country like Singapore, it’s impossible to overlook the two most-loved tropical fruits – pineapples and coconuts.
Imagine combining these two iconic tropical flavours into one icy frappé.
This tangy, tropical drink is perfect for cooling down in the hot weather.
This summery drink, alongside the Sweet ‘N Sour burgers and Ha! Chicken Drumlets, makes for an irresistible combination.
Coming Out This Thursday
Mark your calendars for 28 Dec (Thursday) when these limited tropical delights become available after breakfast hours at all McDonald’s outlets, including Drive-Thrus.
They’ll also be accessible via McDelivery®, GrabFood, or foodpanda.
Remember, these limited edition items are “limited” for a reason.
