Grizz, Pan Pan, and Ice Bear.
To the unacquainted, these sound like the names of ice cream flavours at a hipster cafe.
But for fans of We Bare Bears, they evoke warm memories of the adorable cartoon brothers.
The popular American animated series has garnered something of a cult following over the years, and even inspired a pop-up cafe here in Singapore.
Well, if you or your kids are fans of these lovable goofballs, you might want to make a trip to your favourite fast food chain soon.
McDonald’s Now Has We Bare Bears Toys for Every Happy Meal Purchased Until 6 Jan 2021
McDonald’s Singapore has launched a line of We Bare Bear figurines that come with every purchase of a Happy Meal!
From now till 6 Jan, 2021, customers will receive an adorable tiny We Bare Bears toy with the purchase of a Happy Meal.
Two different options will be released every week until the campaign ends.
For the first week – 10 Dec to 16 Dec – customers can choose between Ice Bear on a log ride, or Pan Pan riding a scooter:
And from 17 Dec to 23 Dec, customers can either get Pan Pan lugging a huge backpack or Grizz on a skateboard:
For the third week – 24 Dec to 30 Dec – you can get either Grizz under a tent or Pan Pan on a water scooter:
And for the last week – 31 Dec to 6 Jan – customers can get Ice Bear vacuuming or a stack of all three brothers, with little Nom Nom on top.
Given how beloved this series is, and given how much Singaporeans love to queue, you should probably head to your nearest McDonald’s outlet soon if you want to get one for your kids!
We Bare Bears Shoulder Bags
If you want something a little bigger, or more practical, Miniso might be your preferred destination.
Back in October, the retail store launched We Bare Bears shoulder bags at selected outlets.
The collection also includes squishy neck pillows, cushions, and cute utensils.
These products were launched in October, so it’s unclear if Singaporeans have snapped all of them up, but you can try your luck anyway.
Here are the selected stores:
- Clementi Hall
- Compass One
- Hillion Mall
- Jurong Point
With Christmas fast approaching, a trip to either McDonald’s or Miniso might come in handy, especially if your family is full of little ones.
