Finally.

One happy news amidst the unhappy news that has been bombarding people in Singapore recently.

And who better to bring it to you than the fast-food restaurant that made Happy Meal a thing?

McGriddles Back in McDonald’s Today (30 July)

If you’ve missed eating your chicken sausage between two pancakes instead of the normal muffin bun, you’re going to be psyched to know that they’re now back again in McDonald’s.

You can choose between two options: either the McGriddles Stack which comes with bacon strips, two chicken sausage patty and a glorious egg between two McGriddles, or the Sausage McGriddles with Egg, which is plenty good on its own.

A Sausage McGriddles with Egg extra value meal will cost you $6.60; it includes a hash brown and a cup of hot coffee or tea.

The stack version, on the other hand, will cost you an extra $1.25. But for bacon strips and an extra chicken sausage patty? Worth it.

Or, if you’re a purist (meaning you only care about the chicken sausage and McGriddles), an extra value meal will cost you $5.70.

All in all, a pretty hearty breakfast, if you ask me about it.

And it’s not the only one back.

Fish & Fries are Back Too

Missed McDonald’s version of fish fillets and fries (read: fish n chips)?

Well, their crunchy-on-the-outside, tender-on-the-inside fish fillet is back.

It comes in two different forms.

You can have them as shown above, or you can have the fish bundled between two long buns, slathered with vegetables, mayonnaise and sweet chilli.

No matter which one you’re going for, you’ll still get a taste of McDonald’s iconic fish fillet.

Bonus: Banana Pie

Okay, I’ll admit that this is an acquired taste but for fans of McDonald’s Banana Pie, it’s back as well.

Sweet fragrant banana covered with a crispy layer of McDonald’s pie crust…mmmm.

Heavenly.

Although…don’t you wish, sometimes, that they’ll combine their Hershey Chocolate Pie and Banana Pie like PPAP to finally give us a Chocolate Banana pie?
