When couples said they wanted something spicy in their relationship, I really don’t think they meant it literally.
Or do they?
Well, if you do, condom brand Fiesta will allow you to bring your love of spice and instant noodles to the bedroom with their mee goreng-flavoured condoms.

The packaging is inspired by the beloved Indomie mee goreng and you can actually grab a pack of three for 5,000 rupiah (~S$0.47) on official DKT Indonesia e-commerce stores.
Are they truly popular though?
The Malay Mail reports that they are currently sold out on Shopee so yes, people do really want to take a bite (ha!) out of this craze.
On their promotional images, Fiesta even wrote, “Discover the sensation of love-making with the distinct taste of Indonesian spices.”
Indeed, why be a snacc when you can be a whole midnight meal for your partner when armed with your mee goreng condoms.
They also humorously noted the “addictive” quality of the instant noodles, cheekily writing that “[o]ne is not enough, two is insufficient.” *Fans self*
Ok but seeing that tomorrow is literally April Fools’, this has got to be a joke.
Their new line even has condoms tasting like ice coffee and spicy cimol, or fried tapioca balls.
Truly giving a whole new meaning to eating out if you know what I mean.
However, the brand has also launched flavours like durian, energy drinks and more in the past and Nno, those actually weren’t April Fools’ Day jokes.
Many social media users did suspect it to be a marketing stunt but nevertheless were tickled by the idea. (Looking at the brand’s track record, only time will tell…)
One Instagram user jokingly warned others to be careful as the condoms were “[s]o spicy it could cause irritation [down there]”.
Others started suggesting more iconic flavours of Indonesian cuisine, such as sate padang and es podeng.
That’s one party in your pants that you’ll never forget.
Durex’s Durian Condoms
Last Wednesday (24 Mar), Durex Singapore has recently released an ad on Facebook introducing their latest new flavoured condoms.
On 1 April, Durex is (apparently) going to release what was called their “limited edition Singapore’s Favourites flavoured condoms”, featuring one-of-a-kind flavours like Mao Shan Wang, Singapore Chendol and Botak Coconut Sherbet.
The company even hinted that Facebook users who commented which flavour they’d like to try on the post might actually get a taste.
Though durian would give your plain, old rubbers an iconic Southeast Asian twist, the flavour is rather…contentious.
A user raised a very good point that I’m sure everyone is already thinking about, “Wa Lao. Durian…cannot make it la. Already original taste will kpkb. Still durian some more. Haha”
Oof. Those with ang moh partners or durian haters should absolutely stay away from these unless you want to give them a heart attack (and smell attack) in the bedroom.
There are also a handful of users who lamented the absence of their highly-awaited “mala hot pot flavour”—a flavour that they have been “waiting for” since 2019.
