Food delivery workers are often easily identifiable by their brightly coloured shirts denoting which delivery service they belong to.
But who knew? These shirts apparently come in handy elsewhere — when playing football.
TikTok Video of Men Playing Football in Delivery Uniforms
A passerby at Choa Chu Kang witnessed a unique scene of men donning the uniforms of GrabFood and foodpanda while playing a game of football.
The scene was then captured and uploaded on TikTok where it has since garnered over 380,000 views and 49,000 likes.
The user also jokingly captioned the video, asking viewers to pick which side they would root for.
@izked Haha so cute lah! So I think Deliveroo was their referee haha #grabfood #foodpanda 😎 #tiktoksg ♬ Wait a minute duckhead edit – Duckhead Dj Kasur
In the TikTok video, most of the players could be seen either wearing the pink and grey tops belonging to foodpanda or the green uniform of GrabFood.
But on a closer look, a single player appears to be wearing a turquoise shirt, probably from Deliveroo. Users speculated in the comments that he was the referee.
Another player was also seen wearing grey, most likely playing the role of goalkeeper.
The location of the scene was Unity Secondary School which is one of the fields managed by Sport Singapore and is available for booking on the weekends.

Netizens Crack Jokes & Grab Comments
Upon seeing the TikTok, the first assumption netizens made was that these players were deliverymen.
Hilariously, some TikTok users joked that they now understood why their food orders were delayed by 90 minutes.
Others parodied the famous Manchester United song and wrote, “Glory Glory Foodpanda!”
Another user also tried to predict the future matches and their players, citing other delivery services like Shopee Food and Uber Eats.
But the most iconic of all was when Grab themselves chipped in.
Replying to a comment where a user said his dad works for GrabFood, Grab said, “Help us hug your dad pls.”
While it is possible that the men were delivery workers, they could have also simply been football enthusiasts searching for iconic team shirts.
After all, these shirts are designed to protect delivery riders from the elements and would also serve football players well in the hot weather.
