Miss Universe Singapore 2025 Applications Open with S$10,000 Prize and Global Representation

The casting call for the Miss Universe Singapore 2025 pageant will begin soon. Applications can be submitted online from 2 Jun.

Contestants must be at least 18 years old as of this year.

Prize Structure and Benefits for Miss Universe Singapore Winners

The grand prize winner receives S$10,000 in cash. She also gets a dental makeover at Orchard Scotts and management representation through Basic Models, the pageant’s partner agency.

The winner will represent Singapore at the international Miss Universe competition.

The first runner-up receives S$5,000. The second runner-up gets S$3,000. Both runners-up also receive management under Basic Models.

The top 15 finalists each earn S$500 in cash prizes.

Application Process and Platform Vision for Miss Universe Singapore

Interested contestants can submit applications online from 2 Jun. Shortlisted applicants will attend a closed-door audition on 29 Jun, running from 10am to 4pm.

Local brands can partner with the competition. The organiser welcomes brand partnerships to support the event.

The competition organiser stated on 29 May that “Miss Universe is not a beauty contest”. Instead, it serves as a development platform for women to champion causes, build careers, and pursue opportunities in media, fashion, and entertainment.

Elaine Daly, national director of Miss Universe Singapore, said the platform champions diversity, intellect, and individuality. The competition seeks women who are unafraid to be seen and heard.

The Miss Universe Singapore pageant has a longstanding tradition of empowering women beyond the realm of beauty, encouraging participants to engage in social initiatives and community outreach.

For example, Bernadette Belle Ong, Miss Universe Singapore 2021, used her platform at the international pageant to advocate for the #StopAsianHate movement, demonstrating how contestants leverage their visibility to champion important social causes and foster unity within Singapore’s multicultural society.

Several past winners have also used the exposure and experience gained from the pageant to launch successful careers in entertainment, business, and philanthropy.
