Last Known Movements

Sofea had met friends at VivoCity on Sunday and was expected to return home by 5pm. Her last recorded EZ-Link transaction was at HarbourFront MRT station around 4pm, reported MS News.

By 7pm, when she had still not returned home, her parents grew concerned. The family searched for her throughout the night, covering areas from VivoCity to Sentosa and East Coast Park, but found no trace of their daughter.

Communication Cut Off

By 10pm to 11pm on the same evening, Sofea’s friends discovered they had been blocked from her phone. Her phone location tracker was also switched off.

The family lodged a missing person report at midnight after their extensive search yielded no results.

Mother’s Plea

Sofea’s mother made a Facebook post on Monday morning, 29 Sep 2025, appealing to the public for help.

She expressed her belief that her daughter did not run away from home, noting that Sofea left behind her travel facial products, braces brush, a power bank, and her favourite hoodie – items she would typically take with her.

“She might be out there in a state of helplessness, and every second counts,” her mother wrote. The family described this behaviour as completely out of character for Sofea.
