There are many things your parents can do to embarrass you in life.

Show your dream girl your uncool baby photos, including the one she took of you in the baby pool.

Call your teachers and confront your friends for “leading you astray”.

Or sharing with the whole world how you have poop in your intestines, like what this mother did.

My Daughter Has Stomachache

On 10 July 2019, a concerned mother took to Facebook to share what happened to her daughter.

She shared that her 11-year-old daughter was experiencing stomach pain for two days.

Previously, when she brought her daughter in to see the doctors, they’ll tell her it was caused by gastric.

So she decided to apply the same remedies this time around. Except, this time, it didn’t work.

The pain reportedly worsened and the girl could no longer stand upright.

It Wasn’t Gastric, It’s Poop

So she brought her daughter to the hospital and told the doctor what happened.

After hearing her story, the doctor confidently told her that he knew what was going on. He had seen many patients around her daughters’ age experiencing the same problem.

He guessed that her daughter might have poop stuck in the large intestines. It was explained to her that sometimes, even though the daughter might’ve gone to the toilet as per normal, some of the old poop might still be stuck inside.

And when that happens, more and more poop will start gathering together.

X-Ray A Positive

The doctor sent the girl for an x-ray in the abdominal area.

When it came back, it showed that the girl’s large intestine was blocked by poop, which caused the pain she was experiencing.

He added that this is very common, especially around children.

Not Enough Greens

Fact of life: Kids don’t like vegetables. In fact, there are some grown-ups that don’t like vegetables.

And without enough vegetables, you won’t have the fibre required to process the stool.

Thankfully, for the 11-year-old girl, it’s a condition that’s easily treatable and the only thing hurt she’ll feel in the future is a burning sense of shame.

The doctor issued medicine to help her clear her intestines and ease out the poop.

However, all these could’ve been avoided with a balanced diet, and the mother urges netizens to take note of their dietary habits.

On A Side Note

It’s not good to hold in your poop too.

Once or twice a day, you will feel the contractions pass through the colon to alert your body that “it’s time”.

If you hold it in, the least you would experience is chronic constipation.

And if you’re always constipated, you might damage the nerves in your rectum, causing rectal muscles to lose strength.

And in the end, you’ll be prone to leaks. A.k.a, super-embarrassing moments.
