MRT Footage of a Toddler Watching Cartoon with Stranger Gets Over 1 Million Views

Admit it, when a baby is being fussy in a public place, most of us just stare in annoyance and maybe shoot death glares at the parents if they aren’t doing anything to stop their child bothering others.

This guy not only took the initiative to help out, but he also did it in such a wholesome way that tons of people screamed silently as their vital organs liquefied (i.e. their hearts melted and they yelled AWW inside their heads and online).

What Happened

On Monday (27 May 2019), this video was filmed and uploaded by the daughter of the Superman of the day.

The clip shows an infant giggling as she watches something on a man’s phone (Tom & Jerry), which was being held at a comfortable level for her.

She fidgets about in excitement and says “No” to her mother who is occupied on her own phone.

Then the child goes back to being completely absorbed by the video shown by the kind stranger (and pointing happily too), as her mother vaguely grabs at her feet. Throughout the viral video, the man grins warmly which added to the whole organ liquefying situation because it shows that he genuinely likes children and wanted to help out.

The man’s daughter gave more insight into the situation.

She said: “The little baby girl and her mother boarded the train and took a seat next to my dad. the baby was very energetic and she seemed restless. So then my dad decided to play some cartoons on his phone for her to watch. He figured she’d calm down if she was entertained by something. The baby’s mother was also very nice. She seemed really glad that we were playing with her baby.”

It’s always heartwarming to see a random man being kind to other people’s children all out of his own good will. He stepped in to help occupy the child probably for the baby’s sake as well as the parent.
