It’s day 1,023 of the circuit breaker and residents are still not allowed to leave their homes for non-essential trips.
So you daobao your piping hot prata, knowing it’ll turn to a soggy mess once you get home. But on the way out of the hawker centre, you spot a familiar face.
Is that our Health Minister eating some Egg Prata just in front of the stall?
Now, of course, Minister Gan Kim Yong would never do such a thing, so it’s probably just a lookalike.

M’sia Deputy Health Minister Charged for Flouting MCO As He Had Lunch in a Group at a School
Malaysia’s Deputy Health Minister Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali and a state executive councillor from Perak pleaded guilty on Tuesday (28 Apr) to breaching the movement control order (MCO).
Both men were charged under Rule 6 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures within the Infected Local Areas) Regulations and were fined RM1,000 (~S$325).
According to Free Malaysia Today, the regulation states that no one is allowed to gather within an infected local area whether for religious, sports, recreational, social, or cultural purposes.

The deputy health minister later apologised for the incident.
In response to the incident, the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, called on all leaders to fully comply with the MCO.
