Fans of literature should know about Dante’s Inferno.
It is a part of his epic poem Divine Comedy where he describes the Nine Circles of Hell – similar to the Chinese’s 18 Levels of Hell.
The first circle is for the unbaptised. The second is for the lustful. The third is for the gluttonous.

The fourth is for the greedy. The fifth is for the wrathful. The sixth is for the heretic.
The seventh is for the violent. The eighth is for the fraudulent. Lastly, the ninth is for the treacherous.
But Dante doesn’t know that there was a tenth circle – far worse than the first nine circles combined.
It’s for the animal abusers.
Words cannot describe the amount of punishment and torture that they deserve for getting a kick out of abusing innocent animals.
Malaysian Throws Cat Into Laundry Dryer (And Turns It On)
On 11 September last year, two Malaysians were spotted committing one of the most heinous crimes in the world.
One of the beasts (not a human being) found a pregnant cat underneath a table at the laundry shop.
The void where a human heart should be somehow told him to grab it and toss it into the dryer.

Soon after, the other atrocious monster assisted in turning on the dryer.
Suffice to say, things didn’t end well for the kitty.
The pair of creatures then stood and admired their handiwork from hell.
In case you were wondering, they were even smiling and laughing at their deed at one point.
Seriously, even Lucifer himself is appalled.

Arrested, Trialed, & Charged
Fortunately, technology exists.
Their act was caught on CCTV with a clear view of their faces.
You can run but you can’t hide.

According to The Star, the pair have been arrested and prosecuted.
The main culprit, 42-year-old K. Ganesh, was charged on 18 October 2018.
What’s the sentence, you’re wondering?
Burned alive at the stake? Flayed and whipped to death?
Unfortunately not. He was sentenced to 34 months in prison and fined RM40,000 (~ SGD 13,000).
But apparently, he even pleaded not guilty?! Like what?!

The other soulless demon, A. Mohanraj, was sentenced to two years in jail on 17 January this year.
Apparently, there was a third man connected to the case – 27-year-old S. Satthiya. He was initially on the run but is currently discharged without an acquittal.
After doing some research, being discharged meant that he was found guilty but no punishment was given at the moment. However, he can be rearrested and committed.
But any legal gurus can feel free to correct and clarify this.
Karma Awaits
Maybe some of you are thinking that their sentences are too light.

Pet owners (especially those with kittens) think they deserve the death sentence.
Unfortunately, in the eyes of the law, an animal’s life is not quite on the same level as a human being yet.
