Weddings are joyous occasions to celebrate the coming together of two families, and the celebration is usually done in the presence of all your friends and loved ones.
Thus, it wouldn’t be a surprise if you actually had a convoy. In fact, it would be more surprising if you didn’t have one considering how it seems to be a part of our wedding tradition for our friends and family to accompany the groom to fetch his bride from her family home.
A video was recently shared and it showed a Malaysian wedding convoy on the road. That doesn’t sound too out of the ordinary, right?
Well wait till you hear what actually happens.
Cars Suddenly Stop TrafficÂ
In the video, a red Kia Forte sedan with its hazard lights on moves even though the traffic light is not in its favour and cuts the four-way intersection, blocking the other cars coming from its right from moving. Even when it’s their right of way.
As if this wasn’t enough, another white Perodua Myvi with its hazard lights on pulls up behind the sedan and completely blocks off the path of all the vehicles, ensuring that no one can go past the sedan.
After a while, we see a blue car and a black car with bridal flowers on it driving past the commotion. These two cars also had their hazard lights on, probably showing that they’re actually all part of the same convoy.
After they’ve driven past, the Kia Forte and the Perodua Myvi join them and leave the junction. And that’s when everyone else realised that the two selfish cars were blocking the traffic for their friend.
Selfish Behaviour For Bride’s Car
This clearly angered many as the two cars that blocked traffic were essentially trying to play ‘policemen’, thinking that they could control traffic this way.
This is obviously a very dangerous behaviour. They could have gotten someone injured if the other cars didn’t brake in time.
Many netizens also condemned them for being so selfish in their actions.

I’m sure many would understand that a wedding is a happy occasion and that you would probably want to get to your bride as soon as you can, but that doesn’t give you the authority to endanger the lives of others. It also doesn’t give you the right to inconvenience the lives of others just so that you could proceed with yours.
Hopefully these people are punished for their actions and no one tries this again.
