And Mustafa Centre was identified as one of the places in an update about two weeks back:
Well, turns out, MOH has updated their list and Mustafa Centre is on it. Again.
Mustafa Centre Has Been Visited 4 Times by Infectious COVID-19 People In 7 Days
In MOH’s latest list of locations, Mustafa Centre was identified four times (meaning it was visited 4 times by infectious Covid-19 patients):
- 4 June 2020 from 3 to 4pm
- 7 June 2020 from 5.45pm to 6.15pm
- 9 June 2020 from 7.50pm to 8.35pm
- and 10 June 2020 from 8.50pm to 9.45pm
Other places on the list include Geylang Serai, Harbourfront Centre, JEM, Our Tampines Hub and more.

The list only includes visits that are more than 30 minutes by Covid-19 patients in their infectious period.
Public transport, residences, workplaces and healthcare facilities are not included in the list. Any close contacts with Covid-19 patients would’ve been contacted by MOH themselves.

Should You Be Scared?
Is Mustafa Centre beyond saving?
Well, not really, at least not according to MOH.
Previously, they told Singaporeans to be prepared for a surge in the number of community cases (and locations where Covid-19 patients visited) as Phase 1 starts.
Also, they clarified that the reason why they decided to put up a list isn’t to scare people from going to that place; it’s to tell people, who’ve visited during the same period, to monitor themselves more carefully.
Go see a doctor immediately if you feel there’s anything wrong, no matter how mild the symptoms are.
As for whether you should still visit the place or not, well, they don’t see why not.
After all, every time a place is singled out as a location on the list, the National Environment Agency (NEA) will work with the management to clean up the place with a professional team.
In other words, it’s probably one of the safest places in Singapore after the cleaning.
Of course, if it’s crowded, don’t go lah. More people = more chance of getting infected.
Meanwhile, let’s all wait until 14 days later and see if community numbers surge.
