Remember Natalie Siow? She hogged the headlines so often last year that even foreign media publications wrote about her.
The verdict Ms Siow, who was involved in last year’s Orchard Towers’ incident, is finally out.
Today (9 October), Ms Siow was sentenced to five months’ jail.

The 24-year-old pleaded guilty to one count of assault, among other offences. She was originally accused of murder, but the charge was later reduced.
Mr Tan Sen Yang, 28, one of the seven accused of the case, still faces a murder charge.

Naughty Girl Club
The incident took place at Naughty Girl Club located at Orchard Towers on 2 July 2019.
At around 6.30am, two groups of people were in a dispute at the entrance of the nightspot, resulting in a commotion.
A few people who were not in the dispute stepped in to intervene. They included the club’s security officer, Mr B. Barathkrishnan and the victim, Mr Satheesh.
Mr Satheesh confronted one of the men in the dispute. They then got into a fight.
The victim was then attacked and killed after a knife attack.
It resulted in the death of Mr Satheesh.

Seven People Charged
Initially, seven people were faced with murder charges on 4 July 2019, one of which included Ms Siow.
She was the youngest in the group.
Three of the accused, namely Ms Natalie Siow, Mr Joel Tan Yun Sheng and Mr Ang Da Yuan, did not use any weapons.
The charges of Mr Joel Tan, Mr Ang Da Yuan and Ms Natalie Siow were later reduced to assault.
The fourth accused, Mr Tan Sen Yang, had used a knife to attack Mr Satheesh.
On March 2020, Mr Joel Tan and Mr Ang Da Yuan pleaded guilty to an assault charge.
Mr Ang Da Yuan also admitted to being in the company of Mr Tan Sen Yang, who had a kerambit knife in his possession.
Mr Joel Tan also faced a similar charge but it was taken into consideration during sentencing.
Mr Joel Tan was sentenced to four weeks’ jail, while Mr Ang Da Yuan was given eight months’ jail and six strokes of the cane.
The other three accused, Mr Tan Hong Sheng, Mr Loo Boon Chong and Mr Chan Jia Xing had their murder charges reduced on 11 July 2019 to that of consorting with a person carrying an offensive weapon in a public place as well.
One of the Accused Jumped Bail and was Later Rearrested
For those who recalled, one of the accused, Mr Tan Hong Sheng, jumped bail in August 2020.
He was subsequently rearrested and taken back to court last month.
While Mr Tan Hong Sheng was out on bail on 9 August, he was allegedly part of an unlawful assembly with four other people.
The group had gotten into a brawl and cause hurt to Mr Desmond Neo Zhao Fu outside Club Secret at Magazine Road.
Mr Tan Hong Sheng was served with a new rioting charge due to this incident.
