Our golden boy has done us proud once again.
Hartono first won the hearts of many Singaporeans when he first debuted in the competition and nailed with a stunning performance during the audition round. He eventually chose Jay chou as his mentor.
In the recent episode of the TV singing competition Sing! China, Nathan Hartono is the first Singaporean to make it past the “battle” round.
The 25-year-old singer battled against his opponent, Huang Junjie of China, and eventually emerged victoriously to secure a position in the Top 5. Though he lost his voice prior to a week before the competition and was completely unable to sing, he eventually gained it back just in time for the competition.
He will now go on to compete against contestants from other teams with Sing! China’s three other coaches, Harlem Yu, Na Ying and Wang Feng.
Check out the amazing performance below. Aspiring singers, you can also take this chance to steal some valuable singing skills from him.
Who knows, he might be the next Joseph Schooling (Okay, sorry for using his name again) to break records and do Singapore proud. #teamHartono
