Dogs are precious little creatures.

They are one of the biggest blessings known to mankind. So precious that sometimes, we don’t deserve them.

Just a few months back in September, reports about a female dog abuser surfaced after the poor dog died of trauma directed at its head and abdomen.

And yet again, we have another dog abuser. This time, a dog was allegedly thrown out of a moving car.

Some people just can’t have nice things…

Dog Thrown Out Of Car

In a video released on Singapore Uncensored, a ruthless driver can be seen throwing a dog out of a moving car along Lorong Halus in Pasir Ris.

Pictures posted on the website show the motionless dog and its remains lying on the road.

Authorities Currently Investigating

Responding to TODAYonline’s queries, group director of the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) Ms Jessica Kwok said that the incident happened on the night of 15 December.

AVS is currently investigating the case and is in contact with the feedback provider to get more information in the incident, adding that it takes all feedback from the public about animal cruelty seriously.

All evidence provided by the public will help, said Ms Kwok as NParks appeals to members of the public for more information and urges people to contact AVS on 1800-4761600.

Information given will be kept confidential.

Say No To Animal Cruelty

Safeguarding animal welfare in Singapore is a “shared social responsibility”, said Ms Kwok.

We can play our part by promptly reporting suspected cases of animal cruelty to AVS via its website at www.avs.gov.sg/feedback.

AVS will continue to take necessary action while raising awareness about animal welfare, Ms Kwok added.

Animal abuse is a crime in Singapore. First-time offenders found guilty of abusing an animal may be fined up to $15,000, jailed up to 18 months, or both, under the Animals and Birds Act.
