A 185-room campus hotel called The Ridge will open at the National University of Singapore’s Kent Ridge campus in the first half of 2026. The hotel is designed specifically for students, visiting academics and professionals.
The Ridge is located in Computing Drive, near the NUS School of Computing and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Construction is expected to be completed in April 2026.

According to Channel NewsAsia, NUS said the hotel serves the university’s “increasing number” of overseas academic visitors, research collaborators, executive programme learners and conference delegates, facilitating their academic work and research activities on campus.
Types of Rooms and Amenities
The hotel will offer three types of rooms: deluxe rooms, premier rooms and premier suites. NUS has confirmed that the hotel is not open to the public or tourists.

Hotel guests will have access to high-speed internet, 24-hour concierge services and a meeting facility for in-house conferences. The Ridge sits right next to the NUS Society Kent Ridge Guild House, where guests can access selected facilities, including a 50m pool and a 5,800 sq ft fitness centre.

Existing Campus Accommodation
NUS accommodation currently includes the Kent Vale Residences in Clementi Road, which are mainly flats for faculty members, visitors to the university and conference participants.
The closest hotels to the NUS campus now are in the Pasir Panjang Road area, near what NUS students call the “supper stretch” of eateries selling food and drinks late into the night.
