Honestly when I was watching the video I was drooling. It looks SOOO good! Fried rice is good, kimchi is awesome. And cheese? Wow. Just wow.

The amount of cheese used looks so sinful but it’s so full of goodness, you’ll just bring forward your cheat day.

Look at this kimchi fried rice. It looks perfect, just like your nasi goreng but with different spicy tastes.

Now imagine it with cheese, lots and lots of cheese. Like this:

Look at that cheesy goodness. So dangerous, so much calories, yet so fulfilling and so tempting.

It’s not a hard recipe, really. All you need are the following ingredients:

Rice
Kimchi
Green Onion
Cooking Oil
Sesame Oil
Oyster sauce
Red pepper paste
Egg
Ham (or any other soft meat)
Mozarella Cheese

Most importantly, you’re going to need an empty stomach for all the yummilicious goodness.

While some people may think kimchi fried rice is good on its own, those of us at the office think that the cheese makes it so much better. Of course, you don’t have add THAT much cheese. Or you can change the type of cheese used, who knows? You can also choose to bake the rice with the cheese to give you baked kimchi fried rice. That sounds good to me too!

You can also try these different variations:

Sprinkle some seaweed for garnishing… Or even add some mayonnaise instead of cheese.

Or bake it…

Or even grill it on bread and cheese.

Let your mind go wild with what you can do with kimchi. It’s sure to impress your guests, especially those who truly love Korean food and Korean everything. Maybe we should do the same with our spicy nasi goreng too.
