Olivia Rodrigo to Perform in S’pore on 1 Oct at S’pore Indoor Stadium

Listen up, Olivia Rodrigo fans, because I have some news that is good 4 u.

Olivia Rodrigo has just announced her first-ever run of shows in Asia and Australia for her GUTS world tour.

She’ll be making stops in cities like Bangkok, Tokyo, Melbourne, and of course, you guessed it:

The multi-platinum, three-time Grammy award-winning artist will be making a stop in the Lion City on 1 October this year at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Olivia Rodrigo, dubbed by some as the “Avril Lavigne of this generation” or a “real-life Tori Vega”, rose to fame in 2021 with her single, “drivers license”. She’s well known for some of her other songs from her 2021 SOUR album such as “good 4 u”, “deja vu”, and “traitor”.

The year after, she stepped on stage to accept her award after being named the Woman of the Year by Billboard.

In 2023, she released her second album, GUTS, which was later declared by BBC News as the most critically acclaimed album of the year.

Rodrigo will be performing songs from GUTS and SOUR when she reaches Singapore this October.

She may be scared of her guitar, but she sure won’t shy away from the mic when she’s on stage as she performs her punk-pop songs and ballads.

Where And When To Buy Tickets

While you may be excited the American star is finally coming to Singapore, you’ll have to win the ticket war first.

Here’s all the details about presales and where to get tickets (though, ticket prices have yet to be announced).

AMEX Presale

There will be a presale exclusively for American Express card members on Live Nation’s website.

This presale will open at 10am on 13 May, with an unspecified end date.

The Live Nation presale will start at 12pm on 15 May.

All you have to do to access this presale is register for a free membership via Live Nation’s website.

The presale will end at 11:59pm on 15 May.

General Sale

If you fail to get tickets during the Live Nation presale, try again the next day during the general sale. This sale will start at 12pm on 16 May and tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster’s website.

VIP Experience

For those who want to get the most out of your GUTS experience, you can purchase the VIP experience during the Live Nation presale on 15 May and the general Sale from 16 May onwards.

Details of what the VIP package entails have yet to be announced.

GUTS World Tour

Olivia Rodrigo has been on tour in Europe since 24 February.

She will continue touring around the continent until 17 August.

The show lasts for about an hour and a half, and begins with the word “GUTS” being displayed on the stage’s screen as birthday candles that progressively melt until the start of the concert.

The concert starts off strong with “bad idea right?” followed by “ballad of a homeschool girl” and “vampire”.

Rodrigo then slows things down a little with “traitor” and “drivers license”.

Fans are looking forward to screaming their GUTS out at her concert during all-american bitch when the lights go off and Rodrigo tells concert attendees to think about something that angers them and scream.
