Guide to the Opening Hours of Singapore Pools Outlets During CNY Period For a Huat Dragon Year

With the prosperous, festive Year of the Dragon looming upon us, some of us may feel the little itch to head down to Singapore Pools to see if the God of Fortune is smiling upon us this year.

However, as with most of the businesses around our island, the Chinese New Year season would bring about some changes in operating hours.

So, if you’re planning to head down to one of the Singapore Pools near your relatives’ house ready to spend some of that sweet angbao money you received on 4D tickets, be sure to check out the revised opening hours below!

Cheque Payments

If you’re heading down to Singapore Pools with the intent to claim your winnings of more than S$5,000 (first off, can’t relate), you will need to head down to the Singapore Pools Main Branch at 210 Middle Road for cheque collection.

The operating hours of the Main Branch are as follows:

• Eve of Lunar New Year (Fri, 9 Feb 2024): Open till 4pm
• First Day (Sat, 10 Feb 2024), Second Day (Sun, 11 Feb 2024) and Third Day (Mon, 12 Feb 2024) of Lunar New Year: CLOSED
• Fourth Day of Lunar New Year (Tue, 13 Feb 2024): Open as usual

Also, you have to be mentally prepared for a longer waiting time due to the Chinese New Year period. But at the end of the day, you’re walking away with prize money; that’s still a big win in my opinion.
