And what a sight it is to behold.

Everything About The Palawan @ Sentosa, a New Entertainment Precinct in Sentosa

Behold the Palawan. And no, it’s not related to Star Wars.

Opened just yesterday, The Palawan @ Sentosa boasts not one, not two, but eight whole unique experiences.

Hydrodash

What’s Sentosa without a little bit of water, right?

Hydrodash is essentially a floating aqua park plus obstacle course. It’ll have you climbing, sliding, leaping and bouncing your way through as you attempt to clear obstacles without pummeling face-first into the water.

HyperDrive

Electric go-kart circuit. A three-level indoor racetrack. Gamification features that will blur the lines between real-life racing and virtual gaming.

Touted as Asia’s first indoor gamified electric Go-Kart circuit, HyperDrive will have you pushing your “limits” as you stock up on virtual “weapons” and “shields” to use on your opponents.

Boost and bomb on your way to victory!

Splash Tribe

Sentosa is an island resort, so it only makes sense for beach-themed attractions to be part of the updates.

Touted as Sentosa’s premier family-oriented beach club, the Splash Tribe boasts a sandcastle-themed play zone, an infinity-edged pool and aesthetic-looking food.

Third Beach Club

And Sentosa isn’t even done yet.

This September, a third beach club, Tipsy Unicorn Beach Club, will officially begin operations at Siloso Beach.

Touted as the most dazzling beach club in all of Asia, the Tipsy Collective project will span a combined 24,000 sq ft of indoor and outdoor space (5,000 sq feet of outdoor space) and offer a staggering 500 seats.

The main pool will feature an elaborately designed stage leading to the sunken pool cabanas, and an ocean-view main bar area where guests can enjoy an extensive range of beverages.

Private cabanas, daybeds, and VIP lounges are also included in this electrifying beach clubbing experience.

Live bands will also perform for the crowd alongside state-of-the-art staging, lighting and sound systems. There will also be curated entertainment acts, fitness and fun activities, stylish bottle presentations and a games area hosted by supposed Tipsy’s Angels.

The space can also be converted to host major events, such as corporate gatherings and social celebrations.

Apparently, Tipsy Unicorn will collaborate with sports brand PUMA to bring a shop-in-shop experience, the first of its kind in Sentosa. The collaboration will feature a range of sports, fashion and beach apparel and merchandise.

The Future

And in late 2024, Raffles Sentosa Resort & Spa is expected to open its doors, offering 62 contemporary villas to the public.

Each villa will supposedly have a private swimming pool and terrace. There will also be a bespoke bar, world-class restaurants, a fitness centre and an extravagant ballroom that can host up to 400 people.

Sentosa SensoryScape’s two-tiered walking thoroughfare will also be soft-launched in early 2024. Touted as an experiential sensory public park, the half-kilometre linkway that connects Resorts World Sentosa and the island’s southern beaches will supposedly have vessel-like structures that harbour gardens.

Meanwhile, Sentosa’s neighbours have been getting busy too. Earlier last month, Sisters’ Islands Marine Park was announced to reopen in 2024 with a new forest trail.

You’ll probably be seeing pictures of the new Ocean Network Express Coastal Forest Trail, a 230-metre-long trail running through the Big Sister’s Island’s coastal forest, everywhere on Instagram next year.

Aside from the trail itself, you’ll likely also see pictures of the hilltop viewing deck at the end of the trail, where explorers can get a bird’s eye view of the scenery around the island.
