The seventh month of the Lunar calendar may be over, and the Gates of Hell may have closed for now.
But Halloween is fast approaching as the end of October is almost upon us.
And in Singapore, where we don’t have autumn (just summer), there’s no pumpkin spice latte season for us to speak about.
People turn their attention to Halloween and chasing the paranormal to find some joy in life.
Some paranormal hunters may have met what they bargained for as a ring light tripod allegedly moved on its own while exploring the area.
Here’s more on what happened.
Paranormal Activity Hunters Experience the Creeps at Abandoned Sin Ming Block
Earlier this week, the TikTok account going by the moniker @aftermidnightsg posted about their adventure at Sin Ming.
If you’re wondering what’s at Sin Ming, what the people in the video were looking for were signs of paranormal activity.

As their social media account handle suggests, these people specialise in going on “adventures” late at night to explore some scary things in Singapore.
Their location of choice this time around was an abandoned block in Sin Ming. To be accurate, Block 26 Sin Ming Industrial Estate Sector A.
Apart from some spooky sounds and bangs with the “feeling” of someone following them, the group didn’t see anything particularly creepy.
The group even went to explore the 12th floor, which was supposed to be the most spooky and “happening” of floors in the block.
Their Tripod Also Allegedly Moved on Its Own
What did raise our goosebumps, however, was how the group’s tripod mysteriously moved on its own.

According to the group’s TikTok, they left their ring light tripod near the staircase as they went gallivanting around the abandoned block.
However, when they returned later, the tripod was no longer at its original spot but in the middle of the walkway.
If none of them moved the tripod, how could it have grown “legs” and walked on its own?
That’s a mystery that will remain unsolved.
More Videos on This Experience Will Be Coming Soon
According to the TikTok account, a third instalment of their Sin Ming adventure will be coming soon.
The account has already posted two videos about the paranormal activity at the Sin Ming block.
If you are too antsy to wait for the third instalment and want more thrills, you can explore the other TikToks posted by the account.
There is a plethora of “scare-worthy” material from the group of friends who have been hunting paranormal activity in Singapore.
Over in TikTok, there’s a drama involving property agents that’s caused by us. Here’s what happened:
