Carousell is a great place to be at if you’re kinda broke and looking for a good bargain. Or if you’re kinda broke and want to make some extra cash by selling off some of your old stuff.

Unfortunately, it has also become a haven for creeps and perverts.

They seem to be almost everywhere nowadays, and Carousell is no exception.

Whether you’re a buyer or a seller, I’m sure that many of you would have come across some really, really weird people while using the popular shopping app.

Most of the time, they start off appearing to be a normal buyer before the conversation suddenly takes a creepy turn and you get to see their true colours.

Like this guy.

We all know that the best way to deal with people like this is to simply just block and report them the moment they start getting weird.

But don’t forget to take a few screenshots first, so you can expose the person and prevent other innocent Carousell users from having to go through the same thing.

Creeps Tried To Purchase Unwashed Clothes

Beauty blogger Ukinikay Nakihcinnak had to encounter multiple of these creeps while she was trying to sell some of her unwanted clothes.

She shared her frustration on her Instagram stories by posting screenshots of the disturbing conversations that she had with some of her “buyers”.

One buyer wanted to make a “small request” before meeting up with her to purchase her item.

Which was to have some of her unwashed clothes.

She blocked the guy right after that.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the end of it as more similar requests started popping up after she posted that conversation on her story.

It’s almost as if seeing a fellow creep fail gave other creeps the motivation to try harder to succeed.

One guy even said that he wanted to pay her because he was constantly jerking off to her pictures.

Jeez. Is it too much to ask for to just not be harassed by strangers on the internet?

She Spoke Up About The Situation

Clearly traumatised by all these creepy requests, the beauty blogger posted a rant about the whole situation on her Instagram story shortly after posting the screenshots.

She wrote about how she shouldn’t have to accept or normalise gross behaviour like this just because of the kind of clothes she wears and sells.

She also added that women should not be shamed for what they wear and that the way they dress does not give any man the right to share their perverted thoughts and fetishes with them.

Not only is it disgusting, but it’s also extremely disrespectful as well.

That’s right.

Hopefully, one day these people will realise that Carousell isn’t Tinder and none of us will have to deal with creeps while simply just trying to make some extra money.

But until then, there’s always that block button.

You know what to do.
