Pikachu With Lights Parading Down Sentosa Palawan Beach Now Ongoing

Okay, first off, if you like cute stuff, try not to squeal out loud.

Iā€™m talking about stuff like this.

And this.

While the first oneā€™s as fake as my non-existent girlfriend I go around telling everybody about, the second one is real.

And itā€™s happening in Singapore right now.

Pikachu. With Lights.

When we think Pikachu, we usually imagine this

Yellow, cute and loveable.

But itā€™s 2018 and theyā€™re going to show you a different,Ā edgier side of theirs.

Hereā€™s whatā€™s going onĀ

The first Pikachu Night Parade outside Japan is taking place in Singapore.

In fact, it has already started on 14 Dec and nine cute little critters that get more love from girls than us guys have been parading along Palawan Green at Sentosa for the past two nights.

Now, if you havenā€™t been to watch the parade yet and have to wake up early tomorrow for work, donā€™t worry.

Theyā€™ll still be here from 21 to 23 Dec 2018.

Their 100-metres nightly strolls start at 7.30 pm and on Saturdays, thereā€™ll be two shows: one at 7.30 pm and one at 9 pm.

  • Where:Ā Palawan Green, Sentosa Palawan Beach
  • When: 14-16 Dec / 21-23 DecĀ
  • Timing: 7.30 pm (Fri to Sun) / 9 pmĀ (Sat only)

Hereā€™s a video of the parade:

Part of Sentosa Light Festival Installation

If youā€™re wondering if its worth it to go down just for Pikachu, there are plenty of other stuff you can do as well.

The Pikachu parade is a part of Sentosaā€™s Island Light Festival, an IG-worthy event that features live performances and light bites from Thursdays to Sundays.

Itā€™s not just about the food too.

The best part? Thereā€™s no additional admission fee for the installation and theyā€™re more than happy for you to take IG photos and post online.

As many as you want.

After all, itā€™s free publicity, no?

The event will last until 31 Dec so thereā€™s plenty of time for you to bring your beloved partner down and have a romantic stroll together.

This place so romantic you might just want to propose to her there.

Or, you can prove your love for her by giving her a can of $3 coke.Ā If you know, you know.Ā
