Okay, first off, if you like cute stuff, try not to squeal out loud.
Iām talking about stuff like this.
And this.
While the first oneās as fake as my non-existent girlfriend I go around telling everybody about, the second one is real.
And itās happening in Singapore right now.
Pikachu. With Lights.
When we think Pikachu, we usually imagine this
Yellow, cute and loveable.
But itās 2018 and theyāre going to show you a different,Ā edgier side of theirs.
Hereās whatās going onĀ
The first Pikachu Night Parade outside Japan is taking place in Singapore.
In fact, it has already started on 14 Dec and nine cute little critters that get more love from girls than us guys have been parading along Palawan Green at Sentosa for the past two nights.
Now, if you havenāt been to watch the parade yet and have to wake up early tomorrow for work, donāt worry.
Theyāll still be here from 21 to 23 Dec 2018.
Their 100-metres nightly strolls start at 7.30 pm and on Saturdays, thereāll be two shows: one at 7.30 pm and one at 9 pm.
- Where:Ā Palawan Green, Sentosa Palawan Beach
- When: 14-16 Dec / 21-23 DecĀ
- Timing: 7.30 pm (Fri to Sun) / 9 pmĀ (Sat only)

Part of Sentosa Light Festival Installation
If youāre wondering if its worth it to go down just for Pikachu, there are plenty of other stuff you can do as well.
The Pikachu parade is a part of Sentosaās Island Light Festival, an IG-worthy event that features live performances and light bites from Thursdays to Sundays.
Itās not just about the food too.
Feast your eyes on beautiful artworks by local artists to feed likes to your IG account
The best part? Thereās no additional admission fee for the installation and theyāre more than happy for you to take IG photos and post online.
As many as you want.
After all, itās free publicity, no?
The event will last until 31 Dec so thereās plenty of time for you to bring your beloved partner down and have a romantic stroll together.
This place so romantic you might just want to propose to her there.
Or, you can prove your love for her by giving her a can of $3 coke.Ā If you know, you know.Ā
