A 23-year-old full-time police national serviceman was discovered with a gunshot wound to his neck at a Shell petrol station along Pasir Panjang Road on 15 Oct 2025. The officer was found alone in a toilet at 328 Pasir Panjang Road by his teammates at approximately 9pm.​
What Happened
The NSF was on duty when the incident occurred. He was found conscious and subsequently transported to hospital for treatment.​
His service revolver and remaining ammunition were accounted for and seized at the scene. No other person was injured in the incident.​
Based on preliminary investigations, police believe the gunshot wound was self-inflicted. The Singapore Police Force stated they do not suspect foul play.​
Police investigations are ongoing.​

On 19 Sep 2022, a police officer from Central Police Division was found with a gunshot wound at 1 Bayfront Avenue. He was taken to hospital unconscious but died from his injuries.​
