Six election rallies will take place across Singapore on 28 April 2025, as political parties intensify their campaigns in the final week before the General Election on 3 May.

One rally will be held during midday hours, while five others will occur in the evening across various heartland locations.

A rally will be held from 12pm to 3pm at the Promenade Area beside UOB Plaza for the Jalan Besar GRC by the People’s Action Party (PAP).

Five additional rallies will run from 7pm to 10pm at various locations:

Jurong East Stadium will host a PAP rally for Jurong Central SMC.

Woodlands Stadium will be the site for a Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) rally for Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC.

Tampines-Meridian Junior College will hold a PAP rally for Pasir Ris-Changi GRC.

Yusof Ishak Secondary School will feature a Workers’ Party (WP) rally for Punggol GRC.

The Hard Court and Field beside Sun Plaza will host a PAP rally for Sembawang GRC.

Transport Arrangements and Restrictions for Election Rally Attendees

The Singapore Police Force has advised attendees to use public transport due to expected large crowds at all rally venues.

Motorists should prepare for traffic diversions, lane closures, and slower traffic in the vicinity of rally sites. These traffic conditions may affect pick-up and drop-off points for ride-hailing services.

Carparks near election rally sites have been limited to season parking holders only. Vehicles illegally parked or causing obstruction risk being towed away.

Rally participants are prohibited from bringing certain items to the events, including:

  • Laser pointers
  • Canned drinks
  • Night sticks
  • Fireworks and firecrackers
  • Parts of firearms
  • Live and blank bullets
  • Spear guns
  • Air pistols
  • Handcuffs

The General Election is scheduled for 3 May 2025, making these rallies part of the final week of political campaigning.
