Pornhub Giving Italians 1 Month Free Premiun Subscription As They Are All Confined to Home

Italy has been ravaged by the Covid-19 coronavirus.

National health authorities reported a whopping 3,497 new cases on Saturday (14 Mar), a 20% increase in cases from the day before.

With a total of 21,157 cases and over 1,200 deaths, Italy is by far the worst-hit nation in Europe.

As a result of the rapid spread, Italy is on lockdown, shutting down schools, museums, and all stores except grocery markets and pharmacies.

As one American living in Rome said,  “The message here is everyone stays at home”.

Being isolated in your own home for long periods of time can get incredibly boring. You can only binge-watch Netflix for so long before your brain shuts down.

So, what could you do instead? Well, you could play with your…. uh, computer.

Pornhub Giving Italians 1 Month Free Premiun Subscription

Yes, you read that right.

According to Complex Magazine, your favourite website Pornhub is giving quarantined Italians free premium access for the rest of March.

I know it sounds like I’m jerking you around, but I’m not. THIS IS TRUE. You don’t even need to enter your credit card details to get access.

So, if you happen to live in Italy and you’re bored, you could head to Pornhub to catch some deep and thought-provoking films.

I hear they have quite a wide selection to cater to different tastes.

Creators to Donate to Local Hospitals

But their kindness doesn’t end there.

Pornhub’s creators, Modelhub, will also make a donation to local hospitals, reported The Next Web.

“Pornhub has decided to donate its Modelhub March revenue to help Italy overcome the emergency,” says a message when you open the site in Italy.

“To keep you company at home during these weeks, you’ll be able to access Pornhub Premium for free for the whole month, with no need for a credit card.”

Those Who Violate Quarantine Could Face Legal Action

Those who aren’t big fans of thought-provoking films and are thinking of leaving their houses due to the intolerable boredom might want to think twice.

The Italian government has threatened anyone who violates the quarantine with legal action. This could be up to three months imprisonment or a fine of €2,500 (S$3,942).

Worse,  if people who knowingly have the coronavirus break quarantine, infect another person with Covid-19 and that person dies, the person who gave them the illness could be charged with murder.

Yes, the Italian government is not messing around.

So, if you’re an Italian, I suggest you stay at home, switch on the old computer, and… unwind.
