If you go to Facebook often, chances are you’d have seen some advertisements that promise to teach you how to be rich because you’re so worth it.
There’s the eBay / Amazon King or Queen: in the advertisement, it’s often claimed that you just need to work a few hours a week, and see your money grow like crazy. And the best part? You don’t need any inventory: all you need is a computer, a few hours a week and most importantly, a burning desire to earn money.
I don’t know how that works, and because I don’t have the desire to earn money but merely the desire to have three cai pngs per day, I’ve always skipped the ads.
Then there’s the Forex King or Queen: just like the eBay / Amazon King or Queen, you just need a few hours a week, a computer and a desire, and money will fall from the sky. The logic is simple: there are experts trading currency exchange daily and they made thousands of dollars a day, so why not just follow their footsteps?
Well, as usual, I don’t know how it really works and always just skip the ads because I just need ten dollars a day.
But I do know what’s going to happen when an eBay / Amazon King meets a Forex Queen.
It’ll become a public online argument on Facebook that warrants 20 packs of Eureka Popcorn.
Online Argument Between eBay King & Forex Queen
For privacy’s sake, we’re going to black out all the names.
Now, this is one heck of a long argument, so we’re going to provide summaries of each post (together with additional information since some are quite technical): if you want to, you can click here to read the eBay King’s POV, and here to read the Forex Queen’s POV.
Do bookmark this article on the app (top right corner) as the argument is still ongoing, so you can come back here for reference when there are new updates.
It all started from a post by eBay King on 2 January 2019. Forex Queen allegedly sells three things: a course on Forex at $2,188 (the screenshot states $1,888 though), signals (think of it as “tips” lah) for $300 for three months and a system in which she would fully manage the money you invest in, and she will take 50% of the profit.
So, eBay King lets her manage because there were good testimonials. However, she allegedly lost $80K of his money and went MIA.
eBay King then added that he would need months in eBay to save up the $80K (Wah, rich sio).
Forex Queen then struck back about six hours later. Other than passively aggressively claiming that eBay King brags a lot about his eBay business but is “poor act rich”, and also showing that she helps her clients a lot by lending a lot of money to them, she also provides screenshots that it was eBay King’s negligence that led to his loss.
In addition, it’s alleged that his total loss is not $80K but lesser. What’s even more interesting is that she alleged that she made “a million after the previous saga” (what saga seh?!).
But hey, of course it didn’t end there.
eBay King posted on his own Facebook account the next morning, claiming that he did ask for advice–and that it wasn’t due to his negligence. However, he alleged that Forex Queen then went MIA. He clarified that he did lose $80K in “paper loss”–meaning that if he cash out now, he’ll lose that amount.
Forex Queen then posted two times to defend herself, claiming that she had given sound advice but it’s up to the client to make the final decision (which is starting to get confusing? Coz I thought Forex Queen manages eBay King’s account?).
Today, ebay King then alleged that Forex Queen makes money by referring her clients to a brokerage firm (the real place whereby Forex takes place), and as every trade has a commission, Forex Queen allegedly earns from the commission.
He then claimed that Forex Queen would only post screenshots of winning trades, and urged people who have lost money with Forex Queen to come forward.
The argument is still ongoing, so like what news media would say, “This is a developing story. Please stay tuned.”
Now, regardless of whose side you’re on, at least you now learn something: rich people really behave different.
Example:
Me: “Hey, boss, you want to earn more money? Go sell things on eBay or play Forex? I just wrote an article and learn that you can make lots of money on eBay or Forex leh. Five digit per month!”
Boss: “I got $2.40 with me now. I want to buy cai png and it costs $2.50. Can you give me $0.10?”
