I don’t know about you, but all my teachers that I can remember from my childhood were middle-aged women.
No offence to them at all, as they were highly capable, nurturing, and motherly. It helped a lot as I got homesick easily as a kid. I wouldn’t have traded them for any other.
But in recent years, it appears that young, good-looking, women are getting into the line of teaching more commonly.

With a new wave of younger teachers, it appears that new methods of entertaining school children have also seeped into the education industry.
The practice of the monitor shouting “Class stand! Good morning Mr Chee,” is now so yesterday.
The trend of greeting students in a fun way when they come to class is spreading into the worldwide phenomenon, and is even being adopted by a Singaporean school.
Let’s just say I could’ve certainly used such a happy greeting back in school as a kid. As caring and nurturing like my mother was, my teachers were also as strict and fierce like my mother was.
What if we were to combine the two new trends in teaching? Young, good-looking, teachers and fun greetings before classes?
Heaven, perhaps?

That heaven exists in Thailand. Not surprising, seeing as how they have the best food and shopping places.
A video of a young and pretty teacher known as Nattaya Nat has gone viral. In the video, she greets her students with either a hug, a hi-5, or a fist bump.
