Prosperity Burger & Twister Fries are coming back.
Can you hear that?
The glorious sound of angels singing.
Reader: I just hear my coworker snoring.
Ok, but can you smell that?
Reader: *sighs* Yes it’s the same coworker. He says it’s an intestinal problem.
What? No, I’m talking about that dark brown sauce. The sauce that trumps all other sauces draped over a deliciously beefy patty that is as long as a conversation with your parents about sex.
Reader: Wait a second, are you saying what I think you’re saying?
McDonald’s Prosperity Burger & Twister Fries Coming Back From 16 Jan 2020
I am indeed. From 16 Jan, hungry Singaporeans can order the delicious Prosperity Burger and a host of other beloved items from McDonald’s!
What better way to celebrate the Lunar New Year (again) than by chowing down on these tasty burgers!
If you’re still young or a vegan-recently-turned-meat eater, you may not have had this glorious burger before. The long chicken and beef patties are coated with a delectable sweet and savoury black pepper sauce that is so good you could eat it out of a bowl.
The sliced onions really give a nice crunchy texture to the burger, adding that much-needed zest to the patty.
The single patty option starts from $5.70, but if you’re a greedy blob like me you could get the double patty option which starts from $7.70.
As a game show host might say, but wait, there’s more!
Those delicious twister fries that seem to come along as often as a solar eclipse will also be available!
A medium-sized ala carte serving of twister fries will cost $3.90, but you can also choose to change your regular fries to these twisty ones for an additional $0.70 if you upgrade to an Everyday Value Meal.
Mango Passion Fruit Pie
Doesn’t that look a thousand times better than the Apple Pie? This beautiful dessert has a mango and passion fruit filling, and cost just $1.50.
Need a tasty beverage to wash all this food down? Well, the cool Peach McFizz might do the trick.
You can get the Peach McFizz as part of the Prosperity Meal from $10.40; this includes a Prosperity Burger and Prosperity Twister Fries.
Peach Soft Serve
No meal is complete without dessert, right? That’s why McDonald’s will also be offering peach soft serve which is available in a Peach Cone (S$1), Twist Cone (S$1), Peach Strawberry Sundae (S$2) and everyone’s favourite, the Peach McFlurry (S$3.20).
Not just Prosperity Burger & Twister Fries; Red Packets Available, Too
You can also get these festive red packets with every purchase of the Prosperity Meal!
So, what are you waiting for!
Reader: Well, you said it’s starting from 16 Jan, so I’m waiting for it to come out.
Oh, right, that makes sense. Anyway, when 16 Jan comes around, this writer will certainly have black pepper sauce and mango passion fruit filling all over his face.
