How much does a PS4 game cost generally?
$15
$30?
$45?
$50?
A quick check on PS’ PlayStation Store reveals that it is most probably within the range of $50 plus to even $120 odd, averaging about $60 – $70.
That’s darned expensive to say the least, and almost unaffordable to a lowly writer such as myself here at Goody Feed.
That said, gamers rejoice, for there’s a reason to be happy today, or indeed up till no certain date, for as long as while stocks last.
Say what?
Me: Uhh, you are not supposed to “say what.” That’s a figure of speech.
BH: But I don’t really understand your statement.
Me: Then read on.
Xtreme discounts at GameXtreme’s Yishun & Tampines Outlets
According to a Facebook post by GameXtreme, its Yishun and Tampines outlets are holding massive PS4 sales.
Prices begin at a lowly $9.
From their photos, some of the $9 games include Deus Ex, Matterfall, Toukiden, Aerea and Battleborn.
If you are a gamer of sorts, you would know that at least one is highly-rated.
It probably doesn’t really matter, but the price tags come in various colours cut out in star shapes too.
Nice.
That said, the $9 games are older titles, and seeing as to how time is money, newer and more recent titles are also available from $19 onward.
These tiles include Battlefield V ($59) Overcooked! ($39), Fallout 76 ($29) and Bladestorm ($19)
Do note that as mentioned, the sale has no end date and will probably end when stocks run out.
Additionally, if you don’t mind pre-owned stuff, the Yishun outlet is also selling selected pre-owned PS3 and Xbox 360 games.
The clincher is that they are being sold at a heftily-discounted rate of S$4 each, or at three for S$10.
Someone shout “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” please.
GameXtreme
A quick check on Facebook finds that the company has been around since 2005.
Thirteen years is indeed a long time to survive given our cut-throat and competitive economy, super-kiam Singaporean customers (including myself) and the slow death of retail shops.
That said, GameXtreme currently has an enviable five outlets and they are located at Tampines Mall, Yishun GV, Eastpoint Mall, Parkway Parade and Tiong Bahru Plaza.
According to their profile, its says: “WE BUY, WE SELL, WE REPAIR, WE TRADE ALL VIDEO GAMES, CONSOLES AND GADGETS!”
All in strong CAPS which basically means they do every of the above stated, satisfactorily and with aplomb.
Now over to you Cap.
Oh, wait, no one cares about this captain anymore?
Okay, over to you, Cap.
Ah, much better.
