We have all been told at least once in our lives that we should never ever drink-drive because it not only puts our own lives in danger, but the lives of others as well.
Thinking that you’re sober enough to drive to your destination can easily cost someone’s life, and if you’re still on the fence about this, let me tell you this once and for all.
It’s not worth it.Â
It’s not worth saving that few bucks getting a designated driver because you want to show people that you’re not like other drunk drivers, that you still have your sense of sanity.
Clearly, when you choose to drink and drive, you don’t.
In another series of “if you drink, don’t drive, and if you drive, don’t drink”, we see a truck driver being filmed by a lady victim.
What Happened?
The sun is shining bright in Malaysia and the drunk truck driver allegedly got into an accident with another vehicle. Instead of apologising or trying to handle the situation, he started hurling vulgarities at the lady victim.
And as if that wasn’t enough, he then told her that he wanted to rape her.
The victim then whipped out her phone and started filming the truck driver when the police arrived at the scene.
According to the video shared by Putera Aduka, the truck driver can be seen circling around his truck and fiddling with parts of his truck, probably to delay his arrest.
The lady also made sure that the police knew how drunk the man was by shouting what he did. She can be heard yelling “How can you be drunk in broad daylight, you cursed me and wanted to rape me!”
The man tries to make a run for it but of course, the police could see through his bullshit right away and grabbed him before he could even escape. They then arrested him.
No More Drink Driving
This video shows why we definitely need stricter laws set in place to deter such situations from happening.
While it is lucky that the situation was handled on time and nobody was hurt because of the driver’s reckless actions that caused the accident, this may not be the case next time.
No one is stopping you from drinking, but if you do, please drink responsibly. If you drink, don’t drive, and if you drive, don’t drink.
