Two Goody Feed NSmen were supposed to go for their ICT last week.
But for the first time in their lives, they were shocked to know that their ICTs were cancelled. Why, they asked their OCs.
The OCs said, “Because we don’t need you guys to defend Singapore anymore. We have Imran.”
Of course, we were all wondering: Who’s Imran? We know Imran doesn’t take IPPT; IPPT takes Imran. But who exactly is this man whose arms are as thick as a commando’s thighs?
Turns out MINDFEF is just as curious as us, and they’ve made a video about the man who’s going to singlehandedly defend Singapore with his stare.
Introducing… Specialist Cadet (SCT) Muhammad Imran Bin Azeman.
SCT Imran, The Trainee Who Doesn’t Do Stand-by Universe Because He is the Universe
In a smart move by MINDEF, the media team there caught up with SCT Imran, who’s training to be a 3SG.
For people who are as old as me, the rank system for the specialist course is now different: instead of getting a CPL and then a 3SG, all trainees will start off as SCT and graduate as 3SG.
Apparently, at the time when the image of REC Imran went viral, SCT Imran had already started his training at Specialist Cadet School.
It turns out that Imran has lost a lot of his muscles as well.
Here’s the video of the man himself—just be mindful of how you watch it because there were cases of monitors and phones exploding when he stared into the viewer’s soul.
If you’re afraid to watch it (I totally understand), here’s some information about this man who’s going to protect everyone in Singapore.
For a start, the man’s not born swole; he was a “bamboo pole” when he was younger, but after picking up rugby when he was 15, he eventually went into bodybuilding when he was 19, and Thanos today’s Imran was born.
He lost 10kg during his three-week confinement, whereby recruits can’t go home for three weeks to condition themselves into soldiers. While I lost fats during my own confinement period, I’m pretty sure the legend lost muscles instead.
After the legend became a legend, he admitted that he got more popular online and offline: he even got over 400 more new followers.
There’s even one interesting thing that we learned: the commando whom Imran passed the rifle back to was apparently his platoon commander, a 1st Warrant Officer.
Anyways, just for your info, SCT Imran can do 60 push-ups and 60 sits-ups in a minute. The only reason why he didn’t do more is that that’s the maximum points liao.
In other words, it’s true: Imran doesn’t take the IPPT. The IPPT takes Imran.
