Missed out on the previous rendition of River Safari’s 2D1N glamping staycation during the December holidays?
Well, hold your regrets, because if you’ve always wanted to know what it’s like to glamp with mysterious sea creatures, you have a second chance to do so.
River Safari Offering Glamping Staycations Again
For 2021, River Safari is offering its glamping staycations again, this time during the March holidays.
The staycations will be on offer from 13 to 20 Mar 2021.
While it’s a tad bit far off, make sure to book it fast.
Back in December last year, when they first offered the staycations, it was sold out within hours.
Unfortunately, this edition’s going to be a bit more pricey than the previous one.
Instead of S$699, it now costs S$999 per tent, which can accommodate up to four people.
That’s still the discounted rate, though, as the usual price for the staycation is S$1,500.
Unfortunately, similar to the first edition, you can’t use your SingapoRediscovers vouchers for this programme, although each tent will have a complimentary parking pass.
What You’ll Get For That Price
Okay, so $999’s pricey, but reasonable since you can’t travel anywhere anyways, but what exactly do you get for that amount?
The glamping staycation package is, as mentioned, 2 day one night.
You’ll check in at 2.15pm and check out at 10am the next day.
According to WRS’s website, the package includes:
- 1 night stay in a bell tent at the Amazon Flooded Forest in River Safari (upper or lower deck)
- Admission to River Safari
- Guided Tour and Animal Encounters
- Set dinner at Night Safari Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant
- and a breakfast set at Singapore Zoo Inuka Cafe
Bed, fan and decor will be provided for each tent.
Here’s a quick peek at the programme itinerary stated on WRS’s website:

For those who are interested in “behind-the-scenes”, the programme also brings you back-of-house to experience what River Safari’s aquarists do daily to keep their charges healthy and good-looking.
Do note that while amenities like toilets, water dispensers, blankets and pillows are provided, you’ll have to bring along your own towels and amenities bags.
Jackets are advisable too as it might get too cold at night.
There’ll be charging plugs within the tents so you will not have any issues with your phone dying during your stay.
Staff will be deployed on-site to help in case of any emergency and a certified first-aider will be there as well in case anything happens.
You can visit their website here to find out more.
