Last month, the whole of Singapore was gripped by the biggest local drama in decades: the NOC saga.
The saga seemed to go on for eternity, with new episodes released every few days. But it seems that the saga has finally come to an end, as we’ve all moved on to more important things, like watching Hellbound.
Unlike Netflix shows, of course, the characters in the NOC saga continue to exist and have moved on with their lives as well.
The two co-founders at the heart of the controversy have shared very little about their private life on social media since then, but that changed yesterday.
Ryan Tan Publicly Post Image of Him With GF

“Hello toxic internet!” he said.
Instead of the toxic comments he may have expected, however, most netizens had nothing but nice things to say.
“Happy for you! You deserve to be happy and in love,” one commenter said.
“Her smile neutralizes toxicity. Take care,” said another.
Since allegations of workplace abuse at the hands of co-founder Sylvia Chan emerged, Tan has shared five posts, two of which were related to the controversy.

Details of the fallout from Tan and Chan’s divorce have become all too public, with allegations of cheating on both sides.
While many have rallied in support of Tan, others have not been as kind, which is presumably why he called some responses “toxic”.
Now Very Focused on Crypto
On a completely unrelated note, Tan seems to have found a new passion in life – investing in cryptocurrency.
Tan has been sharing more and more details about his cryptocurrency investments recently on his Instagram Story, which has drawn mixed reactions from his followers.

When asked why he has been posting more crypto-focused content lately, Tan replied: “For years I been posting funny content and for what? Kena criticise and hated everyday, now I post whatever makes me happy,” he said.
Another follower who was a little more intrigued by his choice of investment asked Tan just how much had invested into cryptocurrency.
“By now, around 100k hahahahaha,” Tan replied.
Tan also revealed that he’s a big fan of crypto gaming and that he sees it as the future of gaming.

And yes, he might go full-time into this:
Conversely, Sylvia hasn’t posted anything on her Instagram feed, but in the last few days, she’s been posting IG Stories of food.
