Sabah Farm Dyed Bunny Neon Pink For Publicity & Wished They Didn’t Do It

The world isn’t at peace right now but there’s a common language that most people speak: animal speak.

No, we’re not all Ace Venturas but if there’s one thing most people can agree on, is that you should never.

Ever.

Mistreat cute animals like puppies and bunnies.

Unfortunately, a Sabah farm didn’t get that memo and decided to do what influencers are doing all the time.

This is a bunny.

And it wasn’t born in it’s glorious, neon pink shade.

Instead, it turns out that a rabbit farm in Sabah decided to dye a rabbit pink to attract tourists.

They even got an influencer to check out the rabbit.

“Here you go! A magenta pink rabbit! I thought that these only can be found in toy stores, but to think that they actually exist! I can’t believe it even when it’s blinking and hopping around here and there actively. If you want to meet the bunny, contact (travel company) and they will bring you to this place. I feel like bringing it back (to Semenanjung Malaysia) but I can’t.”

They even did some online marketing of their own.

They uploaded a picture of the online influencer with their influencer rabbit and called it the “most rare rabbit”.

Wrong Move Buddy

With these two posts, the world of animal-loving, business-hating netizens rose up.

Netizens called their actions animal abuse and questioned how a rabbit farm would even mistreat a rabbit this way.

“Dyeing animals is cruel. Stop it. You can’t love animals and mistreat them at the same time.”

The online personality and the rabbit farm then removed their IG posts.

It wasn’t known if the poor rabbit ever turned back into its natural colour.

But One Thing For Sure

Advertising is one thing but there are a couple of things you should never touch:

The first two might gain you some supporters but the last one? You’ll be lucky if they even find your body. #JustSaying
