SAF retired dogs are up for adoption. Here’s what you must know

If you’ve been wanting to adopt a dog, here’s your chance.

The SAF and the SPF regularly conduct adoption drives for their retired dogs, typically those that are nine years old and above. These dogs are usually Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd and Springer Spaniel.

These dogs are usually well-trained and obedient, and not as aggressive as you think they are in movies (even their German Shepherd!). They’re not meant to be adopted as guard dogs, but as companions.

Unfortunately, all of them are not HDB-approved. But if you stay in a private property and have been thinking of adopting a dog, why not adopt one of these cuties?

Here’re a few of them. For a complete list, please go to https://www.facebook.com/cyberpioneer.connect
