For the professionals (or anyone, really) with little to no time for “daily necessities” like meals, O’Coffee Club Xpress at Raffles Exchange and soon-to-be-at SMU have got you covered. No time, no problem! Just come down for the new Grab & Go concept, then simply grab what you want and go! (Pay first, of course)
O’Coffee Club Xpress offers loads of ready-to-eat foodstuff and meals, like sandwiches and wraps, salads, and various pastries.
This in itself doesn’t seem very impressive, to be honest. Loads of places offer ready-to-eat pre-packaged food, like 7-11, for example. But O’Coffee Club Xpress don’t just prioritize convenience and give up on quality, they ensure quality and freshness for everything they have.
In fact, each sandwich, wrap, salad, what-have-you are all made fresh twice daily, so whenever you pick up something for a quick meal, it is almost definitely newly made.
Here are some examples of what they have to offer.
Sandwiches and Wraps
O’Coffee Club Xpress has 3 different categories of sandwiches and wraps: Standard ($1.90), Deluxe ($2.90), and Premium ($5.90 to $8.90).
The wide range of prices reflects the wide range of ingredients and choices they have. The Standard sandwiches include Truffle Egg Mayo or Potato & Bacon, the Deluxe line includes Chicken Pesto or Wasabi Prawn & Avocado, and Smoked Duck or Crispy Chicken Tikka for the Premium line.
Of course, many more flavours are available for each category, and you’ll always be spoilt for choice!
Sandwiches are made from wholemeal bread, and have a choice of ciabatta or French loaf when ordering from the premium series.
Salads
Fresh salads with exciting flavours are available for those who prefer something lighter. There is a wide selection of 10 different salads, ranging from Seafood to Phad Thai, and the price ranges from $6.90 to $9.90.
There’s also a variety of salad dressings for those who desire more flavour: Coffee Vinaigrette, Wasabi Mayo, Aioli, Spicy Aioli, Caesar Dressing, Spicy Thai Sweet Sauce, Sesame, Honey Mustard, Yoghurt and Balsamic Vinaigrette. Loads to choose from!
If you can’t decide, each salad also comes with a label with the recommended dressing.
Pastries
Like any other express café outlet, there are pastries. There are always puffs and pies, and O’Coffee Club Xpress is no different. Their selection, however, makes them stand out from the rest, with delicious offerings like Blueberry Basket and Teriyaki Chicken Mushroom Puff.
Price ranges from $2.90 to $3.90.
New and Exclusive Organic Jeju Cold Brew
Sure, you can expect the usual range of caffeinated drinks, but O’Coffee Club Xpress now offers a new and exclusive cold brew coffee made with Jeju-do spring water and sustainably farmed Ethiopian Gemadro coffee beans.
The pure volcanic bedrock water contains natural mineral components and an alkaline level that helps to neutralize acidity in both the coffee and the body. Being a cold brew coffee, it is also served from a tap with nitrogen bubbles, making the whole drinking experience smooth and creamy.
This delicious coffee goes for $7.90 a cup.
Others
Don’t think that this place is only for those who want a quick grab-and-go meal. O’Coffee Club Xpress also offers an extensive menu of mains, all-day breakfast items and desserts, so you could go there for a normal meal as well.
