If you’ve been ordering food deliveries for the past year, you’ll have experienced your fair share of frustration when not only the food turned up at your door late, the food itself ended up cold, probably soggy and mushy, but most definitely it’ll look unappetizing.
Well, if this is you, you’ll want to hear what Saveguard has to offer!
Saveguard: An Insurance Plan for Everything in Life… Including Food Deliveries
Like taxes, there’s now an insurance plan for basically everything in life including food deliveries.
Offered by Infinovate Creatives Pte Ltd, Saveguard is an insurance brand that provides coverage for late food deliveries.
It comes in three different plans, namely Defender, Guardian and Sentinel, with Defender being the cheapest option of the lot, but of course, it provides less coverage and fewer rebates.
You can find out more about the plans here.
For reference, the cheapest plan is $5.90 a month, and there’s 5% rebate for late delivery within 15 minutes for a maximum of two deliveries a day.
And yes, the claims you get are rebates and not cash.
How to Claim a Saveguard Rebate
Oh no, my food delivery is late… well, luckily Saveguard got my back!
Claiming a rebate is super simple. There’s a form on the website that you can fill up with your details, the plan you’re subscribed to, as well as the details of the food delivery order.
Once you’re done, simply attach a screenshot of the receipt to validate your claim and viola! You should receive an email notifying you of the status of your submission and you can use it to keep track of the rebates you’ve claimed until your payout date.
Note that you can only submit 2 claims per day.
Subscriptions that Reward You Along the Way
Everyone loves a good rewards program and Saveguard knows it!
Using a points-based system, you can easily accumulate reward points simply by extending your subscription plan (every S$1 spent = 10 reward points), referring your friends to sign up for a subscription plan (every successful referral = 10 reward points; plus, your referral will get S$1 off for their first month), and simply by “liking” and “following” the brand on Facebook and Instagram (5 reward points each).
What can you do with your mountain of points?
Well, you can get a nice S$1 cashback, which will be “PayNow”-ed to you upon redemption, for every 20 points you earn.
