A 33-year-old Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officer has been charged with 10 counts of sexually penetrating a minor and one count of possession of obscene films.
The defendant, whose identity remains protected by a gag order to safeguard the victims’ identities, allegedly committed these offences between December 2023 and June 2024.
Sexual Offences at Multiple Locations, Including Carparks
The officer’s alleged crime spree began on 20 December 2023, when he reportedly sexually penetrated a 15-year-old girl.

Court documents reveal that similar offences continued between January and April 2024, with incidents taking place at various locations, including multi-storey carparks in Telok Blangah and Clementi.
According to The Straits Times, while the exact number of victims cannot be determined due to redacted information in court documents, at least one underage girl was involved in the case.
In addition to the sexual penetration charges, the man was found with seven obscene films stored on his laptop computer on 20 June 2024.
SCDF Takes Action Against Officer Following Allegations
The SCDF responded swiftly once informed of the police investigation.
An SCDF spokesperson stated that the defendant was immediately removed from his field-related duties and was placed in an administrative post once SCDF were informed that police investigations on him were ongoing.
The officer has been suspended on half-pay since 20 April 2024.
“SCDF takes a very serious view of such conduct by our officers. SCDF expects all our officers to always uphold exemplary standards of professionalism, conduct and discipline,” the spokesperson added. The agency declined further comment as court proceedings are ongoing.
The accused is expected to plead guilty in July. If convicted of the charges against him, the officer faces significant penalties under Singapore law.
