Screaming Frightened Students Made to Walk Mud Pool with a Python Became Viral

On 18 Oct 2016, a video of school girls forced to walk through a mud pool with a python was uploaded onto YouTube. To be honest, it looks more like a scene out of Ah Boys to Men, the frogmen (read: NDU) version.

I mean, come on. Live blood python and hosing them down?

If you were offended at the NUS orientation games, let me tell you, you’ll be sick at what those guys did to those school girls. Or who these guys were.

The Civil Defense Force (APM)

This incident took place at Kuala Kangsar APM office where 45 students of Sekolah Kabangsaan Beluru attended a team training module meant to develop teamwork, discipline and work level.

A group of female students dressed in exercise attire were forced into a mud pool. A snake was thrown into the pool, scaring the girls horrifically. When the instructors wanted the girls to keep moving, they hosed them down with water.

Half of the group made it to the opposite end while another half returned back to the starting point in hysterics. The latter was forced back into the pool to make their crossing.

Throughout the video, you can hear the officers making fun of the recruits-sorry, I mean school girls. A male voice was heard imitating their cries before laughing.

Student Team-Building Module Suspended

APM immediately stopped all team-building modules and is conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.

“We are baffled as to why this approach was used. We forbid our staff from using snakes or even do any demonstrations involving snakes. We place great emphasis on personal safety and are disappointed that this had happened.” – NST.com.my

They assure that the officers involved in the issue will be appropriately punished.

APM claimed that they have been conducting team-training module for three years and this is a first for them.

They stated that the use of live snakes is to demonstrate the method of catching snakes or to escape from one in the vicinity, not for such training modules.

Sadistic and Inhumane

Netizens online were fired up, and many are hoping that the officers get their due desserts. Some wondered if these girls will be affected by the trauma heaped onto them.

The activity in the video shows clearly that the officers take pleasure in inflicting fear into the school girls.
