Second Half of April 2021 Will Still Be Rainy & Rainfall Will Be Above Average

Sick and tired of the past two weeks where sudden heavy downpours will happen?

Regretted more than a few times for not bringing out an umbrella with you?

Well, if you feel this way, I’ve got only one thing to say:

Remember to bring your umbrella wherever you go for the next two weeks because…

The rain is not going to stop (for now).

Second Half of April 2021 Will Still Be Rainy & Rainfall Will Be Above Average

According to the weather experts in Singapore, the rainy weather is expected to continue, not just for the remaining weeks of April, but through May 2021 as well.

More showers are forecast for the next two weeks, with windy conditions calming down in the last week of April.

In the early part of the coming fortnight, Sumatra squalls will develop over the Straits of Malacca and move eastwards, bringing rain to Singapore.

Be prepared for widespread thundery showers with gusty winds between the predawn hours and the morning.

In the later part, short-duration moderate to heavy thundery showers with lightning is forecast to take place in the afternoon over parts of Singapore.

Of course, needless to say, rainfall in the upcoming weeks is expected to be above average in most parts of the island, and we all know what that means #justsaying

In short, it’s not just a mask; umbrellas will have to be part of your wardrobe for the next two weeks.

A Return To Aircon Temperature

It’s been pretty hot the past few weeks, isn’t it?

Well, I’ve got some great news for you.

The aircon temperature that happened in Singapore from time to time could just make a comeback again.

According to the forecast, the maximum daily temperature on most days in the coming fortnight will reach 33°C and 34°C.

However.

On rainy days, the daily maximum temperature could hit as low as 22°C.

In other words, dress light but be sure to bring a jacket or cardigan with you when you go out.
