For most girls, make-up is a staple. Make-up on its own is already a fool-proof holy grail. One cat-eye can make all the difference.
A slap of blush could add just enough colour to convince your co-workers and your friends that you haven’t just pulled an all-nighter.
Nothing could possibly be better than that, can’t it?
Unless, it’s themed. A theme just augments the appeal of a product. Ask yourself, why do you succumb to buying merchandise? Because it’s themed and we’re all suckers for consistency.
If you’re one of us, then here’s some good news for you! Shu Uemura has teamed up with Pokemon for an electrifying collection. Who’s that Pokemon?
Pikashu, I Choose You
Give yourself that well deserved treat this holiday season. Launching in Singapore on 1 November, the limited edition make-up line, Pikashu will be making its rounds around Shu Uemura counters islandwide!
According to Cleo, the line will consist of eyeshadow palettes, lipsticks, blush palettes, make-up accessories, and even cleansing oils.
As suggested by the title, the line will feature everybody’s beloved ball of energy, the ever-so-adorable, Pikachu. We’re talking about shades of orange, red, and purples! How cute!
Here’s a sneak peek at some of the products that will be available:
Just look how cute that is!
Gotta Catch Em’ All!
Well for this case… Gotta get em’ all! At the cost of your entire life savings. Nothing pretty in life comes at a relatively affordable price.
According to Cleo, the 12-colour “Thundershock” eyeshadow palette will be priced at S$123. While the very pretty lipsticks, available in eight energising shades, will cost S$42.
Do you hear that? No? Well, that’s the sound of my bank breaking. If you’re an avid make-up collector of sorts who is at the moment already itching to get dibs on these products, fret not!
Mark your calendars for the pre-launch of the Shu Uemura x Pokemon line on 25 October at Shu Uemura at Tangs, Orchard.
