Well, not exactly at our office. This lady was spotted having her friend help her take a photo while sitting right at the edge of the rooftop at Enterprise Centre. That’s the building right beside the building our office is in (they’re connected with a bridge).
Lady, I know Lady Gaga sang about being on the edge of glory, but you don’t have to take it so literally.
It’s 14 floors up, man.
Ok, I’ll admit it’s a perfect selfie spot up there, but you could’ve totally just taken a photo within the boundaries, without having to sit on the outside of the edge like that.
Would you rather have a chalk outline on the ground for your efforts?
But it’s true: our office roof is indeed very Instagram-worthy. Just take a look at one of our YouTube videos (skip direct to 1:53 if you just want to see the background):
On a completely related note, just a few days ago, in Dubai, a Russian model did something even more extreme for a selfie.
Viktoria Odintcova, the Russian model, climbed the Cayan Tower in Dubai Marina, and dangled herself off the edge of the roof with the help of an assistant. She was hanging 300m off the ground when the footage was taken.
Well, Singapore Lady, did you happen to see this and think you could do it as well? Totally not a good idea, even if you manage to not die (ok, to be fair if you managed to not die it’s a sick selfie).
As of today, the Russian model has been summoned by the local law enforcement for doing that extremely illegal and dangerous stunt.
Not even a million views are worth losing your life over.
