Are you one who looks at 4 digits as science instead of luck?
Are you one who sit on a kerb outside a Singapore Pools outlet every week, going through hundreds of betting slips and thinking that one of them is going to make you a millionaire?
Are you thinking that Singapore Pools would remain open because it’s an essential income loss for you?
Well, no: it’s time for some rehabilitation program that you didn’t ask for.
S’pore Pools Outlets Will Be Closed Too So It’ll be a Therapy for Gambling Addicts
Last month, we publish an article to explain that while certain kinds of Singapore Pools outlets won’t be open, those that people frequent often would remain open.
But now, things have changed. Again.
All Singapore Pools outlets, even those in supermarkets, would be closed.
If you’ve bought any ticket for the next draw, they’d be refunded…because even the scheduled draws have been suspended.
However, outlets will remain open until 6 April 2020 for lucky fellows to claim their winnings.
And if you’re so lucky that you’ve won a prize of up to $5,000, do head down to the Singapore Pools Main Branch (210 Middle Road) for cheque collection by 6 Apr 2020, 8am – 4.30pm.
If you didn’t collect your winnings before 6 April 2020, don’t worry: the winning tickets would still be valid for 180 days, so once normal operations resume, you can collect your prize.
Reader Bao: What if the circuit breaker thingy lasts for more than 180 days?
Then you shouldn’t be worried about your winnings.
Singapore Pools has not mentioned when operations would resume—yes, not even the projected 4 May 2020.
This is the best rehabilitation program for 4D addicts.
Online Sales Also Suspended
If it’s not clear enough, read this again: everything is suspended, including the draws.
There won’t be any draws anymore, with the last draw being a 4D draw tomorrow (5 April 2020).
So what the heck are you buying online?
You can bookmark this page for the latest update.
Now is perhaps the best time for you to know how much you can “win” just by not buying.
1 Casino Closing; The Other Has Yet to Update
For a start, the entire Integrated Resort services would be closed (which includes the Casino), so if you think your therapy for not buying 4D is to visit the casino, you’re out of luck.
Also, you need help immediately.
As for the other casino in Singapore, RWS Casino, it was initially limited to only to existing Genting Rewards card members and Annual Levy Holders from 2359 hours, 26 March 2020.
As of time of writing, they’ve not updated their policy.
But given that even Singapore Pools has to shut down, I can bet you $100 that it’ll close, too.
Reader Bao: You’re the one who needs help
Make it $200. Steady?
