While others? Not so much:

Now, we have another to add to the list.

A S’pore Pools Outlet Has Been Added to the List of Places Infectious COVID-19 Cases Have Been To

Every day, the Ministry of Health (MOH) doesn’t just come up with the new cases for the day, they also have a list of places infectious Covid-19 patients have visited that they update daily (or whenever there are new ones).

If you’ve been paying attention to the past few days, many, many places have been added to it.

Don’t Panic

If you’re on the verge of panicking and locking yourself in your own home, don’t be.

Before Circuit Breaker ended back in June, MOH has already told Singaporeans that they are expecting more places to be added to the list after Singapore enters Phase One, and subsequently, Phase Two.

With more movement, they said, there’ll be more places implicated.

You don’t have to avoid these places too, they added, because the National Environment Agency (NEA) will engage with the operators of the identified places to thoroughly clean the area.

All you have to do is to check if you were at any of the places during the same timeframe.

And if you are, to monitor yourself for the next 14 days carefully. If there’s even a tiniest bit wrong, stay away from others and go see a doctor immediately.

If you’re above 13 years old, you’ll have to undergo a swab test to check for Covid-19, a process which doctors have said are uncomfortable but relatively painless.

But here’s an important lesson to learn as well:

Practise Safe Distancing & Obey Covid-19 Rules

With more places added to the list every day, you’ll come to realise that no place is truly safe from Covid-19.

The coronavirus would’ve been the perfect peeping tom since it can get into anywhere it wants to be.

While we are able to go out and gather with friends, have a staycation or even watch a movie, we mustn’t forget that Covid-19 is still hanging around.

So go out. Have fun. But practice safe fun.
